Biloxi is the fifth largest city in the state of Mississippi and a melting pot of cultures, food, and entertainment. Located in Harrison County, Biloxi has beautiful white beaches and is home to 9 casinos. It is one of the oldest communities in the state, as well as the United States, settled in 1699. It is a thriving city that has continued to develop and recover post-Hurricane Katrina. Within city limits is the Keesler Air Force Base. Biloxi is home to many service men and women who are stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. The 2nd Air Force, 403rd Wing, and the 85th Engineering Installation Squadron are located at the base. It handles more that 28,000 students, has 400 courses covering over 30 different career fields.
